There is the stark realization that we urgently need a team of legal experts who can take up the cause of the community effectively.

A team of eminent lawyers and jurists is being put together to work on matters of constitutional justice for members of the GCIC who may be facing the harassment of arbitrary action from Government officials. It has been proposed that a battery of eminent lawyers from High courts and Supreme court will be constituted for taking up various issues . GCIC will network with all Human Right organizations and other NGO's who are working for protecting all kinds of Human Rights.

We are disturbed that over 30 Indian workers have been martyred in the last two years and there has been virtually little or no progress in bringing the criminals to justice. The time where we as a community can just be passive observers when some members of our community are being murdered, raped, attacked and terrorized is over. We must act in Christ's love along with the constitutional rights we have in our nation.
